Congratulations on selling your house!

After closing on the sale of your home, there are a few items you can expect to receive. These include copies of any documents you signed at closing along with a check if there were any proceeds from the sale. If there was an existing mortgage on your home, the title company will handle the payoff to the mortgage company. If in fact a mortgage was paid off, you will need to contact the lender within a few days after closing to ensure sure the payoff funds were received and the mortgage has been discharged.
